MONA, or Morphine, Oxygen, Nitro and Aspirin is the recommended treatment for heart attacks by emergency personnel. Emergency services will start treating according to protocols in the ambulance or the emergency room.
But, after dialing 911, chewing a regular 325mg aspirin is the next best thing to do if the person is conscious.
